At the end of a quiet lane in a hamlet of just three houses, the accommodation enjoys a secluded natural setting while keeping everyday amenities within easy reach.

6 km away, you will find a post office, pharmacy, bakery, supermarket open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and part of the Sunday, as well as several restaurants and small local markets on certain days.

12 km away, the Carrefour Boisseuil shopping area offers a wide range of additional shops and amenities.

• 1 hr 15 min from Château de Hautefort, with guided tours every day • 1 hr 20 min from the Lascaux Caves in Montignac, famous for their prehistoric paintings • 1 hr 30 min from Roque Saint-Christophe in Peyzac-le-Moustier, a remarkable troglodyte site • 1 hr 30 min from the Gouffre de Padirac, an impressive natural site with its underground river • 1 hr 45 min from Sarlat-la-Canéda, the iconic medieval town of the Dordogne

1 hr 30 min to 2 hrs from the castles of the Dordogne Valley, including Château de Castelnaud and Beynac-et-Cazenac

As you may have gathered, my heart still belongs to my roots... And although my compass often points towards the Dordogne, I have also discovered some wonderful hidden gems here in Haute-Vienne – places far from mass tourism that are well worth taking the time to experience.
